These terms apply when you use this website, run by Abhi Mittal, mortgage associate with Pegasus Mortgage. By using the site, you agree to them.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information to help you understand your options. It isn't financial, legal or tax advice, and it isn't a mortgage approval, a rate offer, or a commitment to lend. Lenders decide approvals, rates and terms, and they can change at any time.

The calculator and the rates

  • The calculator gives estimates only. Your real payment depends on your lender, your rate and your situation.
  • The weekly rates come from the Bank of Canada. They are the big banks' posted rates, shown for reference, and they are not offers from us.
  • The calculator's starting rate is an example of a typical low rate. It is not a rate we are offering you.

Using the site

Please use the site and its forms honestly. Don't send false information, try to break the site, or use it to send spam.

Words, design and photos

The text and design belong to Abhi Mittal. Photos, fonts and code libraries are used under their own licences, listed on the credits and licences page.

Links to other sites

We're not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites we link to.

Limits on liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from relying on the site's general information, the calculator, or the reference rates.
