Fees and refunds

Nothing is sold on this website
You can't buy or pay for anything here, so there is nothing to refund. The first call is free, and booking one doesn't commit you to anything.
How mortgage associates are usually paid
For most residential mortgages, the lender pays the brokerage a fee once your mortgage closes, and you pay nothing to Pegasus Mortgage for that work. You'll be told in writing how the brokerage is paid before you sign anything.
No hidden fees
If a fee would ever apply to you, for example for some private or specialty mortgages, you'll get it in writing before you agree to it, along with the cost of borrowing and the annual percentage rate (APR) that the law requires. You can say no, and you won't be charged for anything you didn't agree to first.
Refunds
If you ever paid a fee and believe it wasn't properly disclosed, or that you're owed a refund under your written agreement, contact Abhi Mittal at a.mittal@pegasusmortgages.com. You can also contact Pegasus Mortgage, or the provincial mortgage regulator, which licenses Pegasus Mortgage.
Costs from others
Buying a home can include costs paid to others, such as an appraisal, a lawyer, land title registration fees, or CMHC insurance. These are set by those providers or by law. They will be explained before you commit.
